Isolated Ceilings

Needing to construct a noise control ceiling below a noisy amenity space or maybe in a band room to keep noise out of classrooms on the next floor level? Properly selected ceiling hangers isolate from the structural decking a single layer or multiple layers of gypsum board and other materials used for constructing noise control ceilings. Using basic resilient elements (e.g., rubber pads, coil springs) to separate mass and create an airspace is an effective way to raise STC and IIC ratings, i.e., make an occupied space quieter. And when used in conjunction with floor isolation systems, ceilings suspended from resilient hangers offer optimal noise control between those noisy amenity spaces or equipment penthouses and the occupied spaces below.
