Concrete Acoustic Floor

Concrete Acoustic Floor

An acoustic airspace is formed by adhering pre-spaced KIP isolation pads to steel channel. This isolated framing platform is a base for either metal decking as a formwork for concrete or to directly attach concrete structural panels.

  • Channels stack tightly and are portable on a jobsite
  • Pad and channel spacing can be customized for specific acoustic and/or load requirements
  • Can be mechanically fastened to rooftops while maintaining isolation
  • Can be used with or without noise absorptive batt

For structures that cannot support the weight of concrete, consider FIC-W which replaces concrete with a wood composite.
