KINETICS® Sereno

Acoustical Wood Collection

Sereno offers the beauty of natural hardwood finishes with symmetrical hole patterns, providing interesting visual design options that permit the passage of sound energy into a concealed absorber.

Designers select from a variety of wood veneers (or laminates) and three surface hole patterns. Under the surface, the core material is perforated so sound energy has a path to the acoustical absorbers beneath.

Acoustically, four distinct Sereno composite panels have been tested – for walls with 1" and 2" thick fiberglass and for ceilings (E-400 mounting) with and without fiberglass backing. See data sheet, page 2, for NRC ratings and absorption coefficients.

Configurations

Simply select the desired finish and perforation pattern, then decide whether to field-install Sereno panels over nailers and absorbers or have Kinetics pre-build and ship as an all-in-one Ensemble panel.

Panels

Sereno panels are hung on z-clips and can be custom sized to your dimensions.

Sereno is one of four distinctive patterns for sound absorption in The Acoustical Wood Collection.

These patterns enable designers to create beautiful auditoriums, atriums, conference rooms, courthouses, student centers or other areas where finished wood is desired and acoustical comfort is needed.
