Limp Mass Loaded Vinyl Barrier | KNM
KNM limp mass-loaded vinyl barrier material is easy to cut and install. KNM acoustic barriers are available as KNM-B, KNM-RB, and KNM-C.
- KNM-B: Limp barrier material, unreinforced and loaded with barium sulphate. Available in 0.50 psf (2.44 kg/m2), 1.00 psf (4.88 kg/m2), and 2.0 psf (9.76 kg/m2)
- KNM-RB: Limp barrier material, reinforced with a fiberglass screen, and loaded with barium sulphate. Available in 0.50 psf (2.44 kg/m2) and 1.00 psf (4.88 kg/m2)
- KNM-C: Clearview barrier material, very limp, tough, water clear, nonloaded and non-reinforced. Available in 0.50 psf (2.44 kg/m2) and 1.00 psf (4.88 kg/m2)

Fire-Resistant Acoustic Barrier Material | KNM-AL
Fire-resistant acoustic barrier material designed for indoor or outdoor use, KNM-AL reduces risks due to burning, and retards smoke development and flame spread.
KNM-AL is constructed of mass-loaded, limp vinyl with a layer of reinforced aluminum foil facing on one side. The vinyl provides mass and flexibility, while the aluminum adds increased mechanical strength, weatherability, and improved fire retardancy. The non-lead composition of the material allows for safe handling and easy installation.
